Data centres are taxing environments for HVAC systems. They generate a lot of heat, and the performance of the equipment is acutely reliant on a stable environment that won’t fluctuate outside of a relatively narrow set of parameters.
Objective
The additional challenge with this project was the requirement to keep the Data Centre functioning at full capacity as the new system was retrofitted into the space. Failure would’ve meant downtime for a company that moves tens of thousands of Canadians across, in, and out of the country everyday.
